Tussah silk is a type of wild silk from the Antheraea genus of silkworms. It can range from a pale cream to a honey gold colour. This one is on the lighter side.
Tussah silk blends very well with other fibres. Where mulberry silk sits on the top of fibres that it is blended with, tussah silk blends right into the fibres and adds a subtle sheen to the blend.
