Ginned cotton is cotton fibres that have had the seed removed using a cotton gin but have not been carded or combed into a roving preparation. It comes in a compressed cloud preparation. Because it is in the earlier stage of processing, it still has some flecks of vegetable matter in it. These can be removed by carding.
Note: Although we try our best to accurately represent the colours in our photos, differences in monitors could mean that the colour you see on your screen is different from the fibre colour.
